This is a full-time position with hours and days of work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*1. General Ledger Maintenance
*2. Application Balancing to GL
*3. Bond Accounting/GL Reconciliation
*4. Regulatory Reporting
*5. Preparation of Financial Reports
*6. Prepaid & Fixed Asset Accounting
*7. Payables/Receivables Accounting
*8. Miscellaneous Account Balancing/Reconciliation
*9. Other Duties may be assigned
*Determined to be an essential job function.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. CPA Preferred
2. Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word)
3. Knowledge of Accounting Principles
4. Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills
5. Good Problem Solving Abilities

Travel Requirements:
May involve some travel to branch locations and also out-of-area or overnight travel required for training purposes.
